Abbot Low Mills (1858-1927) was born in Brooklyn, NY and educated at Harvard. He came to Oregon in 1882 and moved to Colfax, Washington, in 1885, where he was a member of the banking firm of Perkins & Mills. In 1890 he moved to Portland and became vice president of the Security Savings and Trust Co., and from 1903 was president of First National Bank of Portland.
